Black corde clutch purse featuring abstract tone on tone pattern.

Fabric: rayon cord sewn on fabric | synthetic blend interior | metal frame and closure

History: Corde bags began being made in the 1930's through to approximately the 1950's. To date this bag we look to the rationing that took place during WW2. Fastening and construction were restricted to Lucite and plastics during the war and as cordé style bags became popular. Corde colours often remained in subtle shades like black, brown and navy.
