COMMUNITY
giving back
At House of Savoy we are deeply committed to giving back to our community. We therefore partner with the below non-profit local organisations in a variety of ways. If customers do not want their apparel back after their contract has ended we donate their pieces to:
+ Victoria Cool Aid Society
+ Quadra Village Community Centre
COOL AID
Working with their partners in the Capital Region, Cool Aid offer life-changing services to adults who are impacted by poverty, colonization, stigma and homelessness. These services include permanent housing, emergency shelter, health and dental care, meals, employment assistance, and social and recreational opportunities.
Sandy Merriman House – Provides emergency shelter for 25 women who are homeless.
Next Steps Transitional Shelter – Provides a more home-like environment for shelter guests making progress to get their lives back on track.
QUADRA VILLAGE community centre
The Quadra Village Community Centre (Downtown Blanshard Advisory Committee) is a safe and welcoming gathering place in the neighbourhood of Hillside-Quadra. They work together to nurture community well-being by providing a wide-range of services and programs to meet the needs of their community, from pre-natal support to senior’s advocacy. Breakfast2music
“Sadly, many students in schools across the city go to class every day without having eaten in the morning . . . ” ~ Maryanne T, Principal SD#61
Proper nutrition is vital for a child’s ability to engage and learn. Breakfast2Music is committed to providing children with healthy food at elementary, middle and high schools. Governed by a Board of Directors, Breakfast2Music works in partnership with the Victoria Foundation and School District 61 to assess funding and administer it to schools that need it most.
With a goal of $10,000 we were honoured to help local non-profit society Breakfast2Music in surpassing this total.

We are often asked what is done with unsold grad dresses.
In 2022 we started a wonderful program . . .
We partnered with Victoria High School to supply them with formal wear including: gowns, tuxedos, clutches, jewelry and footwear to be given to any grad who was in need of something special.
Congratulations to ALL the grads
